They got really original things to take back home, and when asked, "Where did you get that?" they were able to reply, "Paris." In fact, SARAH B. is in Saint-Denis, which is generally about half the price of Paris for shopping. To get to SARAH B., take the 13 métro train to "Saint-Denis Basilique", go upstairs, and look for the Hotel Campanile, right there in the center of town near the famous basilica and the city hall. Just check their hours. They are closed at least one day per week, I am sure. Sorry about the noise on this video -- we had a spectacular water main break here a few weeks ago, and I think the roadworks we hear are in connection with that. Many things are closed in Saint-Denis on Mondays, and this was pretty early on a Monday. The works are not allowed to begin until 8 am for noise reasons, but they started right on time, and bus traffic was redirected. I don't recommend the Campanile. It's overpriced. You're better off at the FA on Avenue Lenine by the cemetery. It's where smart tourists stay and is just a few blocks away. I have at least one video up on it. It's no-frills and there isn't a 24-hour desk, but would you rather pay 39 euros a night or over 75? Avoid hotel breakfasts in France. They are overpriced and not very good. You're ...
